Hello
You have hit upon the personal website of Vijay Norbert Albuquerque, a software engineer based in Sydney, Australia. I am pretty enthusiatic about software development and technology. I am currently working at Allianz, developing enterprise applications in Java EE and Open Source Technologies.

My qualifications include an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Bradford. I am also a Sun Certified Java Programmer and have recently passed the Sun Certified Web Component Developer Certification. My main interests include developing enterprise business applications and learning about integration technologies.

Trakko

Trakko is an online general purpose logging application enabling users to log events in a central location. Trakko was concieved entierly on a need basis and developed during weekends and my spare time.

URLPing

URLPing is a simple Java utility to ping a URL. The ping returns back the status as either OKAY, ERROR or TIMEOUT. The utility uses the Apache Jakarta Commons HttpClient component.
